Special Tips

Traveling with children, pets or special needs

accessibility information  Accessibility
The drive into the lake area is beautiful, with spectacular views of the surrounding mountains. The fishing pad is handicap accessible. The restroom in the day use and camping areas are wheelchair accessible, but the stalls are not large. The visitor's center was closed, so we do not have information on that restroom.

travel with children  Traveling with children
Quiet hours are from 9 PM until 8 AM, which is nice for children who need rest. Numerous activities such as boat rentals and special tours provide children with fun and educational experiences. NO WAKE ZONE on east half of lake makes beaches safer for children.

travel with pets  Traveling with pets
Leashed pets are welcome in the park.

NEVER leave a pet unattended in a vehicle. ALWAYS clean up after your pet.
